Our friends Brian and Janean Neville "St Rita 83" who have always been there to help friends are now in desperate need themselves.  In Sept 2002, tragedy stuck Brian and Janean when he was critically injured in a diving accident.  Brian's neck was broken and his spinal cord was damaged.  Following the tragedy, Brian spent 9 months in Northwestern Hospital and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.  Brian was never able to regain the use of his legs or hands. Last year Brian underwent another neck surgery to alleviate his intense pain and after months of rehab in the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab it was unsuccessful leaving Brian with an inoperable broken femur and compromised lung functions. Brian's spinal cord injury and current situation is unimaginable to most, but are all too real for Brian and Janean.  Brian is in need of an around the clock caregiver that is NOT covered under insurance.  Brian's other out of pocket medical expenses, at the very least, have increased twenty fold since his accident.  Brian's financial situation is bleak at best, and the stresses of unobtainable financial obligations are mentally debilitating themselves. 

We are all given special gifts in life, it's what we do with them that can and will make the difference in the lives of others.
