As some of you may know, Megan has had some complications from her bout with COVID-19. After being diagnosed in October, she spent weeks trying to find a doctor to take her in. Her symptoms progressed and it landed her at McLaren Hospital. After a few painful weeks, her doctor diagnosed her with Gastroperesis (stomach paralysis), which ultimately is leading to her malnutrition.

In order for Megan to get the help she needs, she needs to see a specialist who promises to help her. However, the cost would have to be out of pocket due to her insurance declining coverage.

Megan is family to everyone. She is a second mother to the SSDA & MyWay kids, she is a helpful hand for our school system, and of course, she is there whenever anyone has been down and out. But lastly, Megan is a wonderful mother who always puts her kids first. So, her health must be priority in order to do that.
