Friends & Family Supporting Cynthia

Hello, I'm Winnie Falkenstein - a close friend of Cynthia's since high school - and I've started this GoFundMe to help provide her with some much needed support while she focuses on her health.

As many of you know, Cynthia was reported missing on June 19th, 2024. We were all very worried about her and many of you reached out expressing concern and offering help and support. She was subsequently located on July 12th, 2024, and we are all grateful that she is now safe and receiving the care she needs. However, getting back on her feet again is going to take some time and right now, her current financial situation is causing stress and strain that is making it a challenge to focus on her health. It may be several months before she can start working regularly again, and we want to be able to help her with mortgage payments and maintenance fees so that she does not lose her home that she worked so hard for all on her own. We also want to ensure she is eating well and getting the professional care she needs.

That's why we're starting this fundraising campaign - to support Cynthia at a time when she needs it the most. Many of you who know Cynthia, know how proud she is. Asking for help isn't something that comes easy to her or anyone for that matter. I also know that many of you have been on the receiving end of Cynthia's support and love over the years. And many of you reached out with concern and offers to help these past several weeks. Given her current situation and in her time of need, let's show Cynthia how much we all care about her health and wellness. There is no pressure to give more than you can afford. All of us have our own commitments - feel free to give what you can - it could be $10, or it could be $100. Please know that any support is HUGE and will help.
