Im hoping we can come together to help raise funds for a medical procedure that Ron Martinez needs but is not covered by insurance.

Many of y’all may not know but he’s been through a lot of health issues over the last two or three years. Most recently, November of this year, after a routine surgery related to his diabetes he went into cardiac arrest for almost 12 minutes. By god’s will he survived and shortly after underwent quadruple bypass surgery.

Unfortunately, he now has another health related issue. He is having major complications with his right leg. He has seen some specialists about regenerating damaged nerves in his leg. He is beginning treatment on the right leg, however, the procedures they’re going to do over the next several weeks involve advanced stem cell therapy. Unfortunately, insurance will NOT cover the stem cell therapy even though Ron has excellent health insurance. These procedures must be paid for out-of-pocket. He is looking at anywhere from $18,000 to $30,000 that must be paid upfront. What has made this more difficult is that the company he owns, CTSA, was shut down for almost 2 years due to COVID and the state department closing down. They just now reopened so financially we’re looking to help Ron with these upfront medical costs.

If the treatments are successful, the stem cell therapy will regenerate new nerves that will allow him to walk. If the treatment does not work, docs will partially amputate the right leg.

Any donation of whatever amount will be greatly appreciated by Ron and his family. Let’s help Ron get to the goal that he needs. I’ve witnessed Ron give freely to everyone over the years. Now it’s our turn to step up and help him in his time of need.
