Friends and Family of the Powell Family

Hello family and friends, my name is Quincy (Hensen) Buckles; it is with a heavy heart I write this today. I am the niece of Mary Pat (Hensen) and Daniel Powell and the cousin of Charles and Jana Powell. On Thursday, April 14, daughter Jana Powell, and Mary's husband Daniel Powell, received the worst news anyone could ever receive; they lost both mother/wife and brother/son in a car wreck. In the wake of this significant loss, the family has been devastated. Amid their tremendous grief, the family is processing the gravity of the situation they find themselves in. Jana's oldest daughter went in for spinal surgery Monday the 11th and found out the horrific news while still in the hospital recovering. Jana and her family have been carrying the immense burden of attending to Elise's needs through the healing process after her surgery, as well as, navigating the heartache and funeral preperations of Charles' and Mary's death.

Charles, Mary and Jana were the Powell trio who worked together to provide for their families. Jana and Daniel have not only lost half of their family this past Thursday, they have also had an astronomical collapse in finacies since Charles' and Mary's passing. Charles was a generous man who never passed an opportunity to bless the ones he loved and cared about, an attribute Mary made sure to instill in her children. With the sudden departure of our beloved Mary and Charles from this world to the next, I implore you to show love and support through contributing to the family left behind who are moruning the loss of their loved ones and find themselves havinging to make arrangements for the cremation, burial and memorial of cherished mom/wife, Mary and brother/son, Charles. We appreciate all of your support during our time of loss and need.
