Friends and Family of Alvin Black- Support Needed

My name is Sierra Black and I am the proud and loving daughter of Alvin Black. I am creating this Gofundme due to the devastating news I received about my dad. A couple of months ago, my father was diagnosed with stage 4 head and neck cancer and has been in the hospital since this past Christmas. Since then, our lives have drastically changed. From him facing this reality to me withdrawing from school for a few months and moving to Dallas the very moment I found out he was in the hospital. I have stayed by his side every moment since Christmas without transportation using what I had saved and with the support of my immediate family. My father and I were not financially prepared for any of this and for what may come. Currently, my father has received a tracheostomy and had a g-tube placed in his stomach so he can eat. Now that my father will be discharged from the hospital to receive Hospice care at home in another city with myself, my uncle, and my mother, the transport there is a delicate and crucial process that requires the rental of an RV, oxygen, medical devices and supplies. My only concern is that my father gets home safely with me and his family. I will face the hospital, credit, and every other bill that is to come when I am ready. We ask that you keep us in mind, and if possible, please contribute to getting him home. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read our story.
