Friends and Family Coming Together for Jess

As some of you know, and many of you don’t, Jess burnt her hand earlier this summer. Jess has dealt with numbness and tingling in her hand for awhile but chalked it up to her career as a hygienist. The burn prompted her to get an MRI and it was during that when they discovered she has a tumor in her spine. 
After several more MRIs and doctors visits over the last couple of months it was decided Jess will undergo surgery on August 19th at UT Southwest in Dallas. The surgery will be an all day affair and she will be in
in-patient rehab for a few weeks after the surgery. The road to recovery will be long and hard but if anyone can do it we all know that it’s Jess. 
Several people have reached out and asked how they can help. I think I can speak for both families and say that your prayers are as important and vital as anything we could ask for. The reality is that financially life will go on as Jess rehabs and recovers. So I begrudgingly got them to agree to let the people who love them help in that manner to if they felt led to do so. I know how much love everyone has for Hoot, Jess, and Peyton and I thank you in advance for everything you all will do.
