Friend's father's Mucus, Asper treatment in Brain

Hello Everyone,

We friends of Sai Teja, creating this fundraiser to support her father Mr. Ramachandra Reddy, who is undergoing the treatment for Mucormycosis | Fungal infection, post COVID at Apollo hospital, Chennai.

Early August, Mr. Ramachandra was affected by COVID virus and was treated for weeks in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, and got recovered from the Corona successfully. However, as the side effect of COVID-19 treatment, his immune was weak and his body was infected by the fungal infection (please refer this link to know about this disease). This infection has affected his left eye, doctors says he has no vision on left eye and has very low hope on left eye recovery and he has a blurry vision on his right eye. This infection has reached brain, he has gone through Phase 1 - Removal of infection operated through Nasal entry. After the MRI scanning, doctors confirmed the Infection is still spreading faster and might require a brain surgery to remove the infection.

About family:

Mr. Ramachandra was born in a village Papanpalle, Andhra Pradesh. He was a humble farmer, he and his wife Mrs. Sukanya Devi worked their entire life to provide better education and life for their children. The couple has two daughters (elder married and his younger daughter still not married), he and the family were hoping to get her married soon, unfortunately all their savings are being used for the treatment.

His family is undergoing a rough phase in their lives, with lot of stress, pain in all means (physically, emotionally and financially).

We friends of Saiteja (younger daughter) thought supporting their family, financially would of a minimal help to the family at this point.
