Friend to All, Motorcycle Accident

Hello everyone,

I'm sure everyone is beginning to find out or hear about what has happened. My brother Sam was in a bad accident, he was on his motorcycle when a car hit him and another passenger head on. He is in critical condition, but stable. He is currently in the ICU at SLU hospital, where they are taking great care of him. They've been giving him blood transfusions for he is still bleeding out quite a bit from his injuries. As of right now there is no significant head injuries that they can detect. All of his traumatic injuries have been to the lower extremities. If everyone could just keep Sam and our family in their thoughts and prayers we could really use some right now.

There's still a long road ahead. We will keep everyone updated on here as often as possible. So please don't be offended if you don't receive text replies from the family. They're overwhelmed. I'll update this page often or you can text me, message here or on Facebook. In the meantime, people keep asking what they can do to help. So we have started this page to start raising money for him. You can imagine all the costs that are going to be involved. Fundraiser events are being discussed as well. He's not going to be awake for a few days, so the family does not need a lot of visitors right now. If you'd like to do something, say a prayer, donate, $5, $20, $100, $500. It doesn't matter. Just think about our boy Sammy and the family.
