Friend to all: MICHAEL GILLESPIE

Hi all, Cary Giacalone here, one of the many people who call one of the dearest people in this crazy world friend - anyone that knows him has benefited from his warmth and generosity - that man is Michael Gillespie.

As many of you know Michael has been dealing with severe medical issues. What seemed to start as a need to remove his gall bladder ended up being a much more complicated situation requiring major surgery.

It’s been a long recovery process - let’s talk numbers-

Approximately 140 days since the initial diagnosis.

105 days within the walls of the Memorial Healthcare System. 9 surgical procedures. Countless medical procedures. Thousands of tears.

Please continue your prayers for Michael, his family, and his care team. I look forward to the time when we can count the days we spend at home and the new memories we create. Those will be much happier things to count.
