My Girlfriends Mother's Cancer treatments

My Girlfriend's mother is uninsured and has cancer; however, they do not know how far along it is. She needs a colonoscopy to determine the cancer's stage and what available treatment options exist. This morning, she went to the bank to withdraw the money she had saved up to pay for her procedure. During a brief moment, when she stepped out of her car, someone smashed her car's window and stole her purse, which had the $3k she had just withdrawn. Her insurance will cover the car window replacement but will not replace the stolen money. They have filed a police report and believe that a CCTV camera caught the robbery in progress, but they are not optimistic about retrieving the money. The lost money was earned from her part-time jobs, such as cleaning homes, babysitting, and walking dogs. She withstood painful stomach aches randomly during the day while she worked. She worked hours with no days off so they could save enough to pay for her medical bills that seemed to be racking up.

This incident has completely broken the family financially. My friend's dad is a stay-at-home dad due to medical and heart problems. When her mother discovered she had cancer, the family's life paused since the mother was the main person working and paying for the bills at their home. My girlfriend works a minimum wage job and struggles to find hours since she works as basic PA for a production company. She works three jobs, in which 2 are instacart and uber eats but still doesn't make enough to cover her bills and her parent's medical bills. Both her mother and herself have been trying to find ways to get her mother treated, and money for this is generally hard. The money stolen from them brought them back to the start, causing them to work more hours, my girlfriend, especially since her mother can't work much due to cancer and the horrible pain she feels.

I am starting this GoFundMe on their behalf in hopes of replacing any fraction of the money needed to get started with their cancer treatment and help out this family.
