Hi! My name is Miranda. Thank you for taking the time to read this. My dear friend, Jamin, who lives near the Econ River in Orlando, experienced a unprecedented amount of water and wind damage during hurricane Ian. The water levels rose to almost ten feet …he and his dog had to leave their home and swim to safety. He’s a single dad with a single income…thankfully his children were not home at the time. The entire first floor of the home is unlivable. He needs all new electrical panels, AC, water pump, walls…everything. Photos of him and his children are gone…holiday decorations, handmade ornaments…all gone. Father’s Day cards…gone. His tools, a meaningful car…gone. He will be without water or power for a extended period of time. He’s doing the best he can….but he needs some help, and the insurance company is being extremely difficult. I have not mentioned that I’m doing this, as he would never ask for help. A lot of kind people have been asking what they can do….so if you would be willing to help….it would extremely appreciated!!!!
