Hi, I’m Petie and I am homeless as of Wednesday the 29th of April 2026. I will be moving/have moved into unfurnished emergency accommodations with no white goods as of this date. I am a mentally disabled adult who is on the spectrum. I recently left my place of work because of abusive management, coworkers, an initial refusal to let me have a copy of my employment contract and being physically pushed by my boss. My current savings will be going towards rent, necessities and other appliances. I have been brought up with the mindset that asking for help, especially financial, is unacceptable, but I am in need now more than ever. I would love to have and would benefit greatly from having a small fridge/fridge freezer in my accommodations but currently do not have the spare finances to secure one with many unknown bills, expenses and troubles ahead of me. I am asking for but not expecting up to £300, the price ranges for fridges I have been looking at start around £175 and go to £250 depending on the model and make. I currently do not know which exact model I am looking for as the council do not know where I will be housed until the 29th, and I am not able to view the space beforehand, only allowing me to accurately measure and research when I have moved. Any and all extra funds raised will go towards food to fill it with.
