To Dearest Friends and Family,

We come to you with heavy yet hopeful hearts on behalf of our precious niece, Friana Charlyn Brillantes, a brave 8-year-old little girl who is battling the hardest challenges of her life.

Her journey hasn’t been easy. In 2024, Friana was first diagnosed with stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma - a rare and aggressive type of cancer. But through months of chemotherapy, radiation, and countless medications, she showed incredible strength, courage and determination. And By God’s grace, she was declared cancer-free in November 2025.

This was the moment that filled our hearts with so much happiness and brimming with gratitude to the amazing medical team, support workers of the Children's Hospital and all who prayed our dear Friana.

But an unexpected, heartbreaking and devastating turn, Friana’s cancer has returned in just 4 months of being normal-happy little girl. This time, the cancer is more complex, very aggressive and affecting her Organs functions. She once again have to endure countless treatments and challenges.

We have to hold on to another miracle. With her loving parents holding on to faith and doing everything they can to take care and support her to this another battle she is facing.

Friana is a sweet and gentle soul, full of love and innocence. She has already endured so much, yet she continues to smile and inspire everyone around her. "The cruelest part of her story is that her innocent heart still believes in the magic of a better tomorrow, even while it breaks from the reality of today."

To family and friends, we ask for your prayers, for healing, for strength, for comfort, and for hope. Please keep Friana in your hearts, that she may continue to fight with courage and be surrounded by God’s love and grace.

We also humbly reach out to you to extend your helping hand. Please consider supporting Friana as she navigates her medical journey. Due to the intensity of her care, her parents, mostly her Mom, Ria need to stop working to take care of her full-time. Any financial assistance to help with living and medical expenses would be deeply appreciated.
