My son needs help!!!

Hi, my name is Ed Gutierrez. Most of you know me as officer Gutierrez. I am now retired and driving a school bus. My son Sam was involved in an accident on Dec. 9, 2021. He was at work and fell onto a concrete floor, head first. He broke most of the fall with his hands, breaking both wrists. He was unconscious for nearly 10 minutes. He hit his head pretty hard, causing several cranial fractures and some bleeding. He had to be air lifted to Dell Seton in Austin. He has been in ICU since the accident. Yesterday, Dec 10, he had both wrists undergo surgery, placing hardware onto the wrist bones. He has no insurance. Since he is self employed as a construction worker, he has no access to Workers Comp. The medical bills are going to be astronomical. We are looking in to emergency financial assistance, but I'm sure that won't nearly be enough. My son is a single father of 2 wonderful children. I am asking you to prayerfully consider helping him during this crisis. If God lays this on your heart to help, I would personally appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

Sam is on the right, to my left. I love my son dearly, but I can't do this on my own. The cost for the helicopter ride alone is going to be very expensive. I promise that every penny will go to my son's medical bills and to his regular bills, since he will be unable to work for quite a while. He was telling me yesterday that he needs to get back to work! He has such a strong commitment to his young family. I leave this all in God's hands and trust Him.
