Freys trucks recovery
Donation protected
Overnight on Feb 15th a fire gutted Mike's business, Freys Trucks. He poured his heart and soul in to it for 25 years and lost it all in an hour. Fortunately, the fire did not reach the house but the shop and all its contents are gone. He has not a single tool to his name. Unfortunately insurance won't help with mounting costs or replacement of his tools and equipment.
** update**
The fire burned so hot that the metal girders and building structures melted in on themselves. 3 trucks were lost in the fire, 2 being customer trucks. Mike is currently looking at temporary locations for him to provide repairs and diagnostics while the shop is awaiting clearance for tear down and then an assessment of what funds he has for rebuild.
We (his friends and family) really hope that we can all come together and help Mike get back his life's work and passion. We hope his customers continue to contact him for their needs as Mike will keep helping all he can.
Your support is greatly appreciated, and I will continue to post regular updates as things happen.
**Update, March 8, 2017**
The building has been demolished and removed. Mike currently has a temporary location where he is able to do repairs and diagnostics while he looks in to rebuilding a new shop! He is still in need of tools, equipment and supplies, so any donations are still greatly appreciated!
