Frey's Fight Club

Coach Gariann Frey has dedicated her life to building athletes, teams, and communities. As the director at Rainier Volleyball Club and Head Coach for Orting High School and Middle School volleyball, she has spent over 14 years shaping the lives of countless young athletes and families. Beyond the court, she is known for her generosity - donating her own time and resources to ensure every athlete has the chance to play, grow, and belong.

Now, it’s our turn to rally around her. Gariann is facing her THIRD battle with cancer - this time, breast cancer: invasive ductal carcinoma HER2 positive [meaning its aggressive]. A lifelong fighter, she has shown us what it means to lead with strength, kindness, and perseverance. Even in the hardest moments, she continues to inspire her athletes with her resilience and unwavering dedication.

This fundraiser will help cover the cost of medical treatment and bills, as well as lost wages while she is unable to work. By giving, you are not only easing the heavy financial burden that comes with cancer, but also allowing Coach Gariann to focus fully on her fight and recovery.

Gariann is the mentor who cheers the loudest, the coach who believes in every player, and the woman who always gives more than she takes. Today, she needs the support of the very community she has poured herself into for so long.
