Hi, I’m Freyja (she/they)! I am a trans-femme freelance illustrator based in Seattle, WA and I am seeking community support to help me cover the cost of facial feminization surgery (FFS) this July.
Over the past several years, my social transition and HRT have been crucial steps in combating my life long struggle with gender dysphoria. These changes have brought me more joy and euphoria than I ever thought possible and have greatly improved my quality of living. After thoroughly consulting with therapists and doctors, my care team and I have come to the conclusion that FFS is a medically necessary next step in alleviating my gender dysphoria. Thus far, my transition has enabled me to imagine what a fulfilling future looks like for me. Gender affirming surgeries like FFS make this dream attainable.
I feel incredibly lucky to have access to life saving gender affirming surgeries. Unfortunately my insurance is unable to cover a significant portion of the cost. I am asking for your support to help me cover these costs! Any contribution makes a difference and feel free to share widely :)
