Freya's Journey: Overcoming Early Challenges
Donation protected
On June 25th, our world changed in the most unexpected way. I was rushed into an emergency caesarean due to severe preeclampsia. At just 32 weeks, our daughter Freya was born prematurely — tiny, but incredibly strong. She’s currently in the NICU and continues to amaze us daily by reaching new milestones.
While I’m beyond grateful that both Freya and I are safe, this journey has brought on many unexpected challenges — including medical bills, transportation costs to and from the hospital, and the need for extra support during this critical time. I’m currently out of work for the summer as a teacher and Tyler’s hours at work have decreased due to him helping me with my recovery and remaining close to Freya. Due to all of this, the cost of basic needs like food and daily living expenses has become overwhelming.
If you’re able to help in any way, no matter how small, it would mean the world to us. Your support will help us focus on what matters most: healing and being there for Freya as she continues to grow stronger each day.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, sharing, and supporting us during this time.
