Fresh water for a village in Nigeria

Donation protected
Tudun Bazai is a rural village in the northern state of Kano in Nigeria. In the village there are approximately 2000 people and a primary school with 150 pupils. Currently their only source of water is an open well which leaves the people exposed to the diseases of malaria, typhoid  and dysentery.
As part of my Duke of Edinburgh award, in the October half term, I am going to climb the old man of Coniston. A fell in the lake district which is over 800 metres tall and over 16 miles of walking.  I hope to raise enough money to provide the people of Tudan Bazai a source of clean water.
Please be generous in sponsoring me to achieve this goal.
