My name is David Beck, and I was just released from prison after serving 14 years. About three years ago, I gave my life to God, and since then, I have been working hard to change my life for the better. I was released on December 15, and while I am grateful for this second chance, I am facing many challenges as I try to rebuild my life.
Right now, I have no clothes or shoes, and I am struggling with several mental health issues that developed during my time incarcerated. I can't afford my medication, and I live with my mom, who is disabled and unable to help with transportation. Getting to my meetings and appointments is difficult, but I am determined to stay on the right path and not go back to prison. I am reaching out for help because I truly need support to get through this transition.
The first thing I need is transportation so I can attend my meetings and start looking for a job. Once I am able to work, I will be able to pay for my medication and begin to support myself. I want to thank everyone for helping me—any little bit counts, and as God as my witness, all donations will go towards the help I need. Once I get myself right, I hope to give back and be the donor next time. Your support means everything to me as I work to build a better future. Thank y'all ..
