Hey Everyone!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. My name is Taylor, proud owner of Eat Ur Macros. We are a black women owned meal prep delivery service in the DMV for over the last 6 years. Our business is evolving and would love your support!
Currently, we are piloting fresh food vending machines in DC public schools and we are in need of some capital to purchase them. These fresh food vending machine will provide a more convenient and healthier food choice to our educators and school administrators/staff.
One of biggest things that can ruin an educator’s day is missing lunch or forgetting it on the counter at home! As a current elementary educator myself I’ve had too many days like this. I’ve also witnessed my colleagues overpaying for simple quick snacks that are not healthy, overpriced, and doesn’t fulfill them at all. So… always being a problem solver, I said to myself “my team need our help with better food/snack options that are fresher and reasonable priced”.
We have a goal to raise $7000 to purchase our first machine. The cost of each machine is $6,500 plus shipping of $500 per machine.
