Freja Attewell's Funeral

Hi there, this is Sheryl and her mum Vicki. We are so sad to be having to put up this page.

 

This is Freja, our Grandaughter and Niece. Freja is 12 years old and has a neuro-disability of unknown cause with severe epilepsy, asthma and diabetes. Since birth she has been fighting the countless battles that having her disabilities has thrown at her and it is through these battles that she’s proven to be the strongest member of our family.

In September of 2021, Freja contracted Covid-19 and apart from a short time at Christmas, she has been in hosiptal from then until now. Despite the Dr's attempts to find her medical answers and to get her to a position of recovery, she has not improved and is not able to come off a non invasive ventilator. This means that our princess will not survive this illness and will surcome to her condition set on by Covid-19 as she has respiratory failure. She is hopefully moving to a hospice in the coming week where she will spend time with her parents, siblings, and close family members, making memories that they can all cherish forever.

We are doing this go fund me to help with that process as well as provide some financial aid for her Dad as he has been unable to work since January and currently has no income. As well as general upkeep of the family’s home, donations will help with transport for her Dad and siblings so they can visit Freja as much as possible. They will also help provide activity items for Freja as well as decorations for her room at the hospice. A lot of the proceeds will also contribute towards Freja’s funeral as we want to be able to give her the farewell she deserves.
