
Freetown, Sierra Leone fuel tanker explosion

On November 6, 2021 , fuel tanker exploded in a suburb of Sierra Leone's capital, Freetown. The explosion occurred after two vehicles collided on the highway while the fuel tanker was about to enter a nearby filling station to discharge its fuel.
As of November 10, death toll is at 131, with 63 people still being treated in four Freetown hospitals, with 19 of them being in a critical condition.
