Fur Family Eviction Fund

Greetings! I am a disabled service dog handler with a 3 month old kitten that is also part of our pack, an emotional support animal and a training tool for my service dog. I had a dream of taking my fur family to see my artwork on a billboard in Seattle and working as I usually do for 3 months while I was in the mainland away from rabies free Hawaii. I was aware of the testing windows and had every intention of returning to Hawaii not less than 3 months and having completed all the tests so that our family would not have to endure the nightmare of quarantine. PLAN A FAILED. We ran out of money and it was 42 degrees F in the car that we started to live in Seattle before my bff offered to fly us back to Hawaii. I knew that they would have to be taken from me but I felt that I had no other choice and homeless shelters barely honor service dogs, let alone ESAs. It could have been easier to fly and exist with just my service dog, but I made the commitment to parent little Taiko from the time they fell out of a tree that I was cutting. She is a training tool for our PACK, and helped Satori come back to life as my service dog because Satori was actually able to see the difference between being an ESA and a service dog and started to be receptive to our previous training program that I, the owner handler had her on since she was about 6 months old. Owner training your service dog has been the best and only path for Satori and I, as our task is to heal decades of emotional neglect and help me to rise up into an instinctive Alpha leader. This does not mean I don't make huge mistakes along the way. I felt that I needed to act fast on getting us back to Hawaii and even though my beloved animals are locked up and unable to exercise and sleep with me, I am actually doing much better than I even imagined. This family is the MOST secure and healthy family I have ever had. So, even though our livlihood is temporarily threatened there is a feeling of healing and growth that I get to experience through this hardship. Building a secure attachment is my service dog's TASK. I have become an accidental activist for BPD/CPTSD and service dog handling and how it can help, and I am about to start a crusade for ESAs to get taken seriously in hotels and housing and Hawaii state Quarantine! I hope you can help our family REUNIFY sooner than the mandatory 4 months! Please donate to the super expensive Titer testing for both animals so they can be released earlier.
