Help me cover Arizona softball at its 1st Big 12 tournament!

I am a freelance journalist who covers women's sports. While the various organizations I contract with sometimes pay some of my travel costs, it is rare that they cover all of them. What they don't cover comes out of my pocket.

I am planning to attend the 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Championship in Oklahoma City from May 7-12, and I will need to cover some of the costs myself. As fans of women's sports know, a lot of us who cover women's sports do it for little money. That means there's less in my pocket to cover those out-of-pocket expenses.

Money will be spent on a rental car and gas, lodging for the entirety of the tournament, and food during the time I am away. I will be driving because it is cheaper than flying.

I would appreciate any support. Nothing is too small. Anything over my fundraising goal will be used for future travel to cover other NCAA women's sports. That could include another trip to OKC for the 2025 Women's College World Series if Arizona advances that far.
