PTSD & Eating Disorder Treatment

About 3 years ago, our lives changed in a way that we still do not always comprehend. My wife was diagnosed with an eating disorder. We have three awesome kids who have weathered this storm beside us like true troopers.
Lauren is fighting so hard to beat the eating disorder; but some past events have surfaced that are preventing full recovery. The availability of treatment in our area, coupled with the type of treatment (for both the PTSD and the eating disorder) have never allowed her to fully recover. Additionally, our health insurance does not cover residential treatement and that is the level of care that is being recommended by her psychiatrist, her therapist and her dietician.
We are seeking funding assistance for a residential program that treats both PTSD alongside the eating disorder. We have been able to negotiate the treatment portion being covered by insurance, but the residential facility is the issue. We are getting estimates from several places that would place the daily rate on us at $250/day. Additionally, Lauren will not be working at the time. So...you see our dilema.
We have applied for grants through some organizations, but we will not be able to use them if she is already in treatment. The issue is that she needs treatment immediately. The funds will only be used for treatment. I will be cashing in some frequent flyer miles and such for the travel expenses. In the event we raise more funds than we need, those funds will be dispersed to a non-profit organization that assists others with eating disorders.
Anybody who knows us well, knows that asking for help from others is not something we normally do. Any donation to the treatment fund (no matter how large or small) would mean a great deal to us! This is really a life and death situation. Eating disorders are the most fatal of any mental illness and we are ready to finish this chapter and move on to the next...enjoying recovery!
