Help save horses from Brutal ending

We are a registered not for profit Society that rescues horses. We take in horses for various reasons. Horses are sent to slaughter on a regular basis in Canada. Most people are unaware that these beautiful horses are slaughtered for HUMAN CONSUMPTION. The horses that are sent to slaughter are not typically dying, old, unusable horses. They are babies, pregnant Mares, unhandled due to lack of time put into them etc. They just need someone to give them some time. We want to do that for them. It costs about $6/day per horse to feed. We currently have over 20 horses in our care.

We are trying to get 12 horses from the Penticton area currently that are slated for slaughter, please help!
