My name is Swab, and I'm writing to you today about a challenge that impacts my ability to fully experience life with my three-year-old son. I have primary progressive multiple sclerosis, which has unfortunately left me paralysed from the waist down and significantly affected my speech. My left arm and hand are also progressively losing their function.
My greatest wish is to share the simple joys of the outdoors with my son – to explore the countryside, play on beaches, and even just visit local playgrounds. However, my current manual wheelchair gets easily stuck in mud, sand, and wet grass, making these outings incredibly difficult, and often impossible. Pushing a manual wheelchair on a wet, grassy playground is a constant struggle.
The Freedom Trax would be truly life-changing for us. It would unlock a whole new world of accessibility, allowing me to join my son on adventures without the constant worry of getting stuck. Imagine the joy of being able to explore a beach together, or simply navigate a grassy park!
If you could help me acquire a Freedom Trax, I would be profoundly grateful. It would not only restore a sense of independence for me but, more importantly, create invaluable childhood memories for my son and allow us to experience the world together in a way that currently isn't possible.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Swab
