‏My name is Abdalghani Jabr, I am from Gaza and I'm reaching out with an urgent plea for help during these incredibly difficult times. I am working as an accountant in Australia but my family is living in Gaza and they are facing the devastating effects of the ongoing war there. Not only that, but my mother is suffering from a chronic illnesses that

‏require treatments unavailable in Gaza.

Adding to our hardships, our home which they fled at the beginning of the war was recently destroyed in an airstrike, leaving us

without a safe and stable shelter.

‏Not only was my family's home destroyed, but also my big brother's home, which he had always dreamed of. His home was warm and full of the laughter of his sons Hatem, who was 8 years old, and his daughter, Eileen, who was not more than two years old.

‏Also, the house of my sister, who got married last year, was destroyed, and her husband, Muhammad, who works as a software engineer, lost his job and there has been no source of income for them since the beginning of the war.

Obtaining permits to cross borders for vital treatment comes at a significant cost of $5000 per permit, and with six family members and two children, the expense is too much for us to cover.

We urgently need to raise $35,000 to cover the costs of these permits and ensure safe passage for my family
