Freedom From Focal Impaired Seizures

Hi my name is Tonya Davis and I am raising funds for my bonus nephew Antonio Shamily, Jr., to help the Shamily Family offset their medical cost.

Antonio Shamily Jr., is Carter Shamily's big brother, a Freshman at Starkville High School, and an active member of True Vine Baptist Church. At the start of 2023 Antonio was diagnosed with Focal Impaired Seizures. The family has been to several doctors within the state of Mississippi and unfortunately, the medical technology in Mississippi, specifically Starkville, Columbus, and Tupelo has not caught up with the medical issue Antonio Jr. is facing. The family has fortunately found specialiats at the University of Michigan Medical School, however, there are significant expenses associated with traveling back n forth from Mississippi to Michigan.

Antonio’s parents Antonio Sr. and Carla Shamily are the proud parents of two boys, who are hard working, loving and devoted parents that believe in discipline with a fierce love for Lord. Although, Antonio Jr., is a hardworking conscientious student, a reliable and responsible son and brother, and a creative and compassionate person he is by no means perfect, however, because of his foundation it doesn’t take much to redirect him to the correct path through love and discipline.

The effects of Antonio’s seizures are challenging for the family, the brain is a delicate organ that requires a particular expertise. Fortunately, with prayer, the right diagnosis, the correct medicines, and therapy, there is no doubt that Antonio Jr., can and will grow and develop into a highly functioning young man who is able to be a productive and prosperous leader in his community.

The family has appealed to the insurance company, but they are only providing the standard percentage for medical coverage plus deductibles. They are currently struggling with their medical debt as they maintain their home and family expenses.

We can’t cure Antonio Jr. but we can help ease the families financial burden and resultant stress that the family is facing. The goal is to raise $30,000. This will help the family immensely as they learn to navigate this new season.
