Dear Friends and Kind Hearts,
I write this to you all with a heavy heart.
My mother, an extremely active woman, has lost her mobility.
For many months we had been trying to diagnose intense pain and other issues Mary-Lou was experiencing. The nerve pain, numbness, and slow loss of control of her legs eventually led her to seek out serious testing.
An M.R.I. revealed a large tumor on her upper spinal cord. The options we had were few. The risks and pain of not taking action were too great
On the 13th of March my mother went through with her decision to have the tumor surgically removed. Although the surgery was successful it left her paralyzed from the chest down.
The gravity of this new reality hasn't kept my mother from having an amazingly positive attitude. She is still, even in her greatest time of need, more concerned with the well being of others more then her own.
She wants nothing more than to regain her independence and continue her life gardening, hunting and fishing. Living with her family in the outdoors of Maine.
In our search for solutions we discovered Action Track-chairs. A wheel chair developed specifically for outdoor accessibility.
A LIFE CHANGING DEVICE

Mary-Lou's generosity, compassion, positivity and selflessness makes it an honor to ask in her name, for a bit of help.
It would mean the world to her if we could make this a reality.
The freedom and happiness that mobility and independence bring can define our quality of life.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME
PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD!!
