Hi, my name is Vicki Acosta. I’m trying to raise money to help my baby cousin Faith Kohrt. On the morning of 11-26-22 Faith was brutally attacked in a domestic violence assault in which she was bludgeoned, cut open, beaten, and literally has left her stitched up like a rag doll with extensive injuries from the outside in including post concussion syndrome. An arrest has been made for aggravated malicious wounding and first degree assault on a family member. The initial protective order acquired by law enforcement while Faith was being treated in a trauma center center has been extended, but she’s been urged to obtain an attorney to guide her legally through all the choices she’s going to have to make and in getting further protective orders in attempt to keep her safe. There’s been an application put in to Virginia Victim’s fund to help with medical bills. Currently there’s no end in sight in regards to future medical appointments, medications, general care supplies will be needed. Bandages are expensive. Once she’s sought legal advice we will be able to begin the process of packing belongings to relocate her as she travelled for her abusers employment and is currently four hours from most family and friends.
