Freebooters AFC

Freebooters Afc have commenced our development of the Fair Green. It’s been our home since 1950 so it has been a huge decision to turn the grass pitch into a 3G FIFA approved astro turf pitch.

The club has grown massively over the years , we now have nearly 700 schoolboys and girls along with over 100 adults playing with us.

Developing an Astro turf pitch will safeguard our playing needs for the future while providing a top class facilities for all age brackets through the club. It will be a facility open to the community and all local schools in the vicinity.

We have a shortfall in our fundraising to finish the project and all funds raised here will go towards providing goalposts for all age brackets, portable dugouts and fencing to finish around the ground.

By donating as little or as much as you can afford you will be ensuring we get this project finished before the spring and get the club back to playing football in the Fair Green.
