Zakariye was taken into ICE custody two weeks ago and was transferred to the Batavia/Buffalo facility. Since then, he has been hospitalized three times for serious health problems. His family urgently needs help paying for a lawyer to secure his release or else his health will get worse.

About Zakariye: Zakariye is in his 30s and is originally from Mauritania and is in the U.S. for work. He is a kind soul who is well loved by many and his family is deeply concerned for his safety. Right now be requires ongoing medical care and needs to see medical specialists. He has medical devices in his body that have already gotten infected once and is at risk for another infection or sepsis. He has been in a lot of pain and not regularly getting his pain medications at the ICE facility.

Zakariye is medically vulnerable and must be released from ICE custody to get proper medical care. Please help his family pay for legal fees. Any funds above what is needed for legal fees will be used to pay his medical bills.
