Free Wheelers Rickshaw Run

On the 9th September we start the Rickshaw Run setting off from Fort Kochi and driving 3500km north to Jaisalmer (Golden City). We will be attempting this huge challenge in our tuk tuk JIM which is a glorified lawn mower with a max speed of 35mph. All we have is a start line and finish line and the rest is left to us. We are in charge of driving, navigation, accommodation, mechanics and everything in between….what could possibly go wrong!!!

We are doing this challenge for the adventure but also to raise money for an incredible charity CHOOSE LOVE, supporting refugees and displaced people globally. They provide emergency support at the point of disaster and conflict, offer vital medical aid, search and rescue and life saving supplies such as water, food and blankets.

Additionally, the charity aids those living in makeshift shelters and tents in refugee camps or on the road for years. As well as helping build futures by providing education for children, mental health support and legal aid help.

We are also raising money for COOL EARTH, a charity that works with local communities to protect rainforests and to fight climate change.
