We are raising funds for two brothers, caught in the politics and media attention caused by xenophobia and racism. They are being held in ICE custody at the GEO detention center. We've received dozens of letters of support, testifying to the character and generosity of these two young men, Nixon and Dixon. Their neighbors asked us to start a GoFundMe to help pay for their legal fees, and hopefully also bond. Please contribute what you can to free them both, reunite this family, and to push back on the rush to judgment and criminalization of immigrant youth in Aurora right now, especially Venezuelan youth.

Dixon Azuaje is a very honest, honorable, and hard-working young man. He loves sports like soccer and basketball. He is very friendly! When he meets someone, he earns their trust and appreciation quickly. He is just a good human being. He likes to help people and is sensitive to others' needs. He likes to play with children and has always had several little friends following him around. He helps his little siblings a lot, loves them very much, and they are very close. He loves his mother so much. He has had to be, and is, very brave, and he supports his family.

Nixon Azuaje (19) is a kind young man with a very good education. He is respectful and likes to play soccer with his friends. He often spends his time working because he is very responsible. He is always looking out for his younger siblings. He is sensitive, honest, and honorable in everything he does. He has a dream to study more and loves to learn. He has aspirations for a good future for himself. His friends’ children are very fond of him, and he makes time to play with them. Nixon has a deep faith in God and often prays for the good of himself, his family, and the world.

Estamos recaudando fondos para dos hermanos, atrapados en la política y la atención de los medios de comunicación causada por la xenofobia y el racismo. Están detenidos bajo custodia de ICE en el centro de detención GEO. Hemos recibido docenas de cartas de apoyo, que dan testimonio del carácter y la generosidad de estos dos jóvenes, Nixon y Dixon. Él es muy valiente como ha tenido que ser y le da apoyo a su familia.

Nixon Azuaje (20) es un chico amable con muy buena educación. Es respetuoso y le gusta mucho jugar fútbol con sus amigos.
