Free Spook Music Mission

I’m fundraising to make some more music. I’m an incarcerated New Mexico homie with over twenty years down. I’ve been spitting Chicano hip hop for most of the art form’s existence thus far. I barely had my foot in the door when I fell upon hard times in the way of recreational police brutality. This all happened when some drunk, off-duty police officers tried to beat my homie to death for sport.

I stopped the attackers but then they turned on me. Tragically the situation turned into self-defense or at worst, voluntary man slaughter. Due to their jobs, they then stole the narrative and valor. I didn’t and wouldn’t have killed a Good Samaritan but this was not that. This man and his friends tried to kill my homie then me.

The ensuing jury trial became a revenge prosecution. I got life in prison which basically destroyed my life. I feel this situation was an all around tragedy but I’m not rapping for the judge or any parole board. My fight is to reclaim a career that was unfairly taken from me due to a split-second decision occurring to stop a situation I didn’t create or agree to. For my friends and community who still remember and respect me, I have to keep going and do my thing ethically and legally.

I’m still fairly well connected in my era and genre of the rap game. This fund-raiser is to put out an O.G. classic with the help of renowned musicians from Texas to Cali. No question this will be one of those True Schools that homies bump for some time to come. I’ve struggled through decades of trial and error and I got this. (See YouTube/Ese Spook Loko)

This process is too expensive for me to shoulder. I’ve found the right artists who have love for me but I need to ask for help from the community. Everybody’s not gonna understand this extreme double standard of injustice but the real will recognize. Peace and respect.
