Help Breast Cancer Survivors Complete Their Healing Journey
My name is Georgette Dunn, and I am a Canadian cosmetic and medical tattoo artist who has spent my career helping breast cancer survivors through restorative areola tattooing.
Recently, my student and colleague — the only artist providing this service in Ontario’s physician-operated, OHIP-funded clinic — suffered a devastating spinal injury that has left her unable to work. Because of this, over 140 women are now backlogged, waiting for this essential procedure.
For many breast cancer survivors, areola tattooing is the final step in their healing journey. It restores not only their appearance, but also their confidence, dignity, and sense of wholeness after everything they have endured.
I have committed to stepping in and helping these women completely free of charge. I am also reaching out to my network of skilled artists to volunteer their time alongside me. Together, we are determined to ensure that these survivors receive the care they deserve — at no cost to them.
But while our time and expertise are being donated, we urgently need help to cover the cost of supplies:
• Medical-grade tattoo inks
• Sterile needles
• Disposable safety equipment
• Aftercare products
These are essential for us to provide safe, high-quality treatment to each woman.
✨ This is where you can help. Every dollar donated goes directly toward supplies — ensuring that no woman is left waiting, and every survivor can complete her journey with dignity.
No amount is too small. Even $10 helps provide the tools we need to restore confidence and peace of mind to someone who has fought so hard.
On behalf of these women, thank you for your generosity and support. Together, we can help them feel whole again.
