Hi everyone

My name is Sity Ahmedul Haj, and I am the organizer of a fundraiser for Rahma Sayeed Omer, a 29-year-old mother of two who has recently endured a challenging ordeal. After being detained in Egypt for residing without proper documentation and facing false theft accusations, Rahma was released to North Sudan, thanks to the kindness of those who contributed to her release funds. Rahma’s cousin, Saieeda, borrowed money on a loan and was able to get family members abroad to help contribute to her release as we were unable to gain access to the money raised as of yet. to secure her release, and thankfully, the authorities agreed to let her out in Sudan. However, this has left Saieeda and Rahma with a debt that they urgently need to address.

Now, Rahma and her children are in a precarious situation, and they urgently need our help to stabilize their lives. We aim to use the funds raised to achieve the following:

- Secure a safe house for Rahma and her children, ideally paying rent in advance for several months or even a year if possible.

- Arrange transportation for Rahma's children to fly to Sudan so the family can reunite.

- Provide essential necessities, including food and clothing for Rahma and her children.

- Ensure the children can be enrolled in school for their education and well-being.

For transparency purposes we will use the funds as followed

Once I have access to them I will send by Western union to Ahmed Mahmoud Mohamed who is my Fiancé. He has a passport and will be able to collect it directly. He will get the money to Saieeda who will be in charge of ensuring the money is used for only the necessities as explained above. We will keep track of the use of these expenses as best as we can and be fully transparent with how the funds are used.
