The CDC says to stay at home but if you MUST be around others to keep some space and cover your face. Saratoga Sews is a group of volunteers assembling 3 types of cloth mask and distributing them for free. We are making an Essential Workers Mask for those who must be around others not wearing masks and can’t easily social distance. These masks come with an industrial filter and are considered the homemade version of the N95 which must be reserved for front line health workers. Our At Risk Mask which allows the user to change out a filter or filter like material as needed. And the Community mask which should be worn by everyone else when you are forced to go out.
Saratoga Sews masks are being distributed free of charge to essential workers, vulnerable and at risk residents and all other community members in Saratoga County and beyond. Please help us protect each other and our community by donating $5, $10, $25, $100 or more. The amount doesn't matter, your commitment to help does. To See How Masks are Made
