Hello, my name is Shimmy and I have worked in the hair industry for over 33 years. During that time I have owned four salons and specialised in hair extensions for more than 25 years.

Throughout my career I have trained many people, and I am now launching my own training academy called INSTALOX HQ to teach professional hair extension techniques.

But this project is about more than just business.

I want to create opportunities for people who need a fresh start in life. Hair extensions are a skill that can genuinely help someone earn money, build confidence, and create independence.

Recently I reached out to two young women who are going through difficult times in their lives and offered to train them for free so they can learn a skill and potentially build a future for themselves.

My goal is to expand this idea and offer more opportunity training places to people who want to learn but would never normally be able to afford professional courses.

The funds raised through this page will help cover:

• mannequin training heads

• hair extension materials

• student kits

• certificates and course materials

Every donation will help someone gain a skill that could change their future.
