Help my brother with Jaw Reconstruction Surgery
Donation protected
Watching someone you love go through years of surgeries, pain, and uncertainty is one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced. My brother has been battling more than just a rare tumor—he’s been fighting for a sense of normalcy, for his health, and for his future.
In 2017, my brother was diagnosed with ameloblastoma, a rare and aggressive tumor in his jaw. That year, surgeons removed the affected area and replaced it with a metal plate. Unfortunately, complications arose, and in 2018, he had to undergo a second surgery after recurring infections made it impossible for him to continue life as normal as it started affecting his appearance. He even had to put his graduate studies on hold while he recovered.
Thankfully, the infections stopped after the second surgery, but the metal plate was always meant to be a temporary solution. Now, less than five years later, he needs another surgery—this time to replace the metal plate with part of his fibula bone to create a new, permanent jaw. This procedure is a huge step, and we’re hopeful it will provide him with a lasting solution after years of struggle. He’s been in pain and it’s come to a point that he can’t even take that much pain medicine so he has to tough it out.
As you can imagine, this surgery comes with significant medical expenses, and the cost is more than our family can manage alone. That’s why I’ve started this GoFundMe with a goal of $20,000 to help cover his medical bills and recovery during this difficult time.
If you know me you know I always say my brother is one of the strongest people I know. He’s faced every challenge with courage, but now I’m trying to just support him as I can. If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing this link. Every contribution, NO MATTER THE SIZE, makes a difference and brings us closer to helping him heal for good.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support.
