We are an informal group of health care professionals (Drs. Eric Westman, Wickham Simonds, and Larry Greenblatt) and medical students from Durham trying to quickly mobilize large numbers of masks.  We want them to go to those in the Triangle region of NC most at risk because of where they live or where they work.  These are not for health care  employees.  We know that masks reduce spread and are recommended by the U.S. Surgeon General and the CDC.  DON'T SPREAD IT, DON'T GET IT.  We buy our masks at a fair price from numerous individuals and business hurt by the COVID-19 epidemic and donate the time to organize, purchase masks, and distribute them.  Your donation will be used very efficiently and will reduce illness, suffering, and, quite possibly, deaths.  We did not have time to set up non profit status though promise to use every penny donated to help prevent COVID-19 or help those affected.
