Free Ernesto: Support His Safe Return

Ernesto is our son, and we are asking for support to return and release him home safely. All funds will directly support Ernesto’s bail and legal expenses.

Ernesto is a dedicated advocate for our community in Pacoima, where he has spent his life organizing for justice. Today, 7/8/25, he was detained while observing and documenting ICE actions.

As a parent, educator, and the son of a San Fernando Valley community, Ernesto has always prioritized the needs of those around him. He often opens his home to provide refuge for the most vulnerable members of our community, creating a space for youth to express themselves through art and sharing resources from his front porch.

It’s heartbreaking to think that anyone could be detained or vanished simply because of their birthplace or the color of their skin. No one should face punishment for standing up and documenting the realities of state violence.
