The way the donations will get to the intended recipient, Daria Lourde, will be via her partner, Taraneh. All funds once withdrawn by Chloe will be transferred by Chloe, the creator of this fundraiser, into a checking account that only Taraneh can access to pay for legal consultation expenses, lawyer retainer fees (a lawyer has already been contacted), court fees, and potentially transportation to and from court.

She is facing FELONY charges with a 50,000$ bail.
California is a crazy place right now, corona out of control (especially in the penitentiary system), the state is on fire quite literally and politically. Our people are suffering. Daria has always been one to put herself in the ringer for whats right! She is one of the most chill, passionate, incredibly smart, empathic, talented, community leaders I know. HELP GET HER HOME QUICKLY AND SAFELY! Her loved ones are terrified for her safety. Not only is going to jail terrifying, but as a QUEER TRANS WOMAN we need to protect her. Her act was a hit for our protection. Not only is she taking her power to the streets, y'all bumping her edits all over the Berlin club scene and I see them GIVE U LIFE! She makes so much beauty in this world, send it back. SEND COINS ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING HELPS!

Because of this fund's overwhelming support, Daria would like to keep the fundraising going. This money will be divided between legal fees for Daria's ongoing court case, and helping other arrested comrades. Lets keep the generosity going so we can continue our efforts here in the Bay Area. Funds here will NOT be going to Daria's cost of living--only to court and legal fees.
