As I advocate for social justice and fight for the rights of others, I’m now doing the same for myself. I’ve never broken a law or gotten a ticket, and now I’m fighting 2 misdemeanors and a felony for crimes I didn’t commit. I spent days in jail and was released due to my clean background, education, and career history. Let’s be clear: officers will do everything in their power to make you appear guilty in the eyes of the law, in order to avoid admitting they made a mistake. I’m raising money for attorney’s fees to help get my life back on track and clear my name before my rights as a free, law/abiding citizen are taken away.
