Motivated I.C. Change Basketball Showcase in Ohio

Hello, My name is Ian Cunningham founder of the #kennyandersonshowcase and now I. C. Change Showcase. This Gofundme was established in the 1st year of the #ICCHANGESHOWCASE a Free Basketball Showcase in Ohio. I Created the Showcase to help give young adults an opportunity to participate in front of college coaches in hopes of earning scholarship money for college without charging them. I was inspired by the Documentary film Mr Chibbs after attending church service.

I am collecting donations for the Showcase to cover the cost of the gym, shirts, Insurance, trophies, food and beverages, scholarship award opportunities along with the hotel room and airfare for special guest Smush Parker former NBA player who comes to speak and motivate the attendees. We do not charge for anything, including admission or college coaches packets.

My goal is to eventually raise money to help young men with several I.C. Change Scholarship Awards given away at the Showcase. I decided to create this Showcase because so many AAU and Basketball camps cost kids hundreds of dollars and I thought if I can do one for free why not! The showcase is intended for college coaches from D3, NAIA, USCAA, NCCAA and JUCO levels.

We have just completed year 6 of #thebigshowcaseforsmallschools and are preparing for year 7! Year one we had 38 young men attend, year 2 we had 51 young men attend, year 3 we had 67 young men attend, year 4 70 young men attend, year 5 we had 70 young men attend and in year 6 we had 72 young men attend. The next showcase is June 14th 2025 we are taking nominations for up to 72 young men in hopes of bringing the young men with college coaches from all over the Country. We are thankful for every dollar sent since the beginning of this vision.
