Hello, I am Jeff, Balto Montion's (IG: Seanbalto) younger brother. On June 8th, 2025, Balto was peacefully photojournaling the protest against mass deportation in Los Angeles.

On October 27, Balto was detained by the FBI for being an "obstruction" at the protest and has been in custody at the Pitchess Detention Center North Facility.

Balto urgently needs a private federal attorney to fight this case and get him out of jail as soon as possible. A private attorney will cost upwards of $25,000.

Balto's bail is $225,000, and he could face up to 8 years in federal prison.

Balto is a Watsonville, CA native who made his way to LA to pursue his passion for storytelling through film photography and filmmaking.
