Our friend, Alex, was unjustly arrested under false charges (related to a bb gun). He's currently stuck in jail until we can raise his $5,000 bail. Please help us in any way possible so we can get him out asap. In the end, it came down to racial profiling and the fact that the police believed a white man's word against Alex's.

We are especially worried because he has serious health issues with his lungs that make him susceptible to getting very sick if he got COVID-19, especially in jail with poor medical care. Anything you can contribute is great - even just $20. We just want our friend (and housemate) out of jail as soon as possible.
